I hope we come out Saturday and explode, I hope we shake things up, get explosive, and play angry. I do think we play conservative and know that in the 4th quarter we take over, and that didn't happen. we were coasting to a 2 TD lead when Shep drops a great first down throw, and King fumbles. They beat us. I love going on the road, the us against the world mentality now. Play in a stale environment and act like the champs. Last week was a tough week. I can't imagine how tough some of those young guys had it looking at their captain hurting. Nice to refocus and grab what is ours.
THe title of this is the polls...and nobody can tell me we should be 4th. If anyone wants to compare schedules, we can do that. You should probably talk quality wins at this point of the season when you want to talk playoff seeding. NDSU's resume is quite good. Very comfortable with a 5-1 record going into the 7th game. Now we play at #13, their homecoming game. Another big test. THe super bowl this week is in Macomb Illinois. Wonder if they punt? Maybe a second quarter on side kick? We will take their best shot, just like we do every week. Time to punch first. I would love some trickeration. I could care less if it goes on tape, every team has a batch of those plays, you can tweak it at any point in time. when a defense is overplaying something...use it against them. I am fired up. New opportunity on Saturday.
