Both played the same exact teams. Tahnnehill was missing the best RB in the NFL for half the year as well.
Those 6 extra TD's Wentz threw didn't help much did they? But, if it makes you feel better, yes, he threw 6 more TD's and 7 less ints.
I'm just stating facts, and I know those don't mean much when people don't want them to.
Based off their overall stats, team record and head to head results, I'd have a hard time saying Wentz>Tannehill this season.
I truly don't understand the disgust so many on this site have for Wentz.

People are Carson fans on here, saying he had a decent season, he's a top half starting QB, etc (all objectively true things by even their own handpicked stats they like to use). Then person comes blowing a bunch of hot air "just stating facts" comparing Carson to some top 10, top 5 QB and claiming that Carson sucks. Lol no one said he's Tom Brady or deserved to go to the Pro Bowl this year. Yet they're here to be sure to let us know just how bad he is any time he sneezes.

I would say they were pretty equal as far as their impact on the team. Neither guy really carried the team, and the teams relied more on having a good run game. Both made some good plays at times and managed games well, and both made some bone-headed mistakes that contributed to losses.

Wentz had a better season, but the bottom line is the team shit the bed when they had the chance to make the playoffs. Wentz didn't help matter. Being objective, if the Colts were my team and he was a nameless/faceless QB, I would have been pissed after the last 2 games. Pissed at everyone, including the nameless/faceless QB. Doesn't matter how good you were the previous weeks. That was a dreadful team that last week.

Did Carson have in his Twitter and Instagram bio that he was QB of the Indianapolis Colts during the season? I noticed that currently he only lists QB and doesn't have anything Colts in his profile picture. I wonder if they have told him they don't want him back. It would be a shame because I believe Wentz and the Colts offense would be much improved in year 2.
The Colts offense was actually really humming until they stopped using the RPO as much after the Tampa Bay game. That was the game where the fans and media complained about the underuse of Jonathan Taylor when Wentz made the correct read on RPO's.
If you remove the Hail Mary interception from the Bucs game and the shovel pass interception in the Rams game where Aaron Donald blew up the intended receiver Doyle then Wentz only threw 5 interceptions all season. Wentz only threw 1 interception in road games all season.
Yes the season ended ugly when the entire Colts team collapsed in the last 2 games but to blame Wentz and remove him from the team for next season it seems like they are scapegoating him. It also seems like it would be taking away the QB that Frank Reich wanted for the Colts.

Wentz scrubbed the Colts from his Twitter bio and Instagram bio a while ago. Jim Irsay is a drunken drug addled fool. I hope the Colts see what truly bad QB play is next season. I also hope Wentz either gets a chance to start for a team that lets him play without restrictions or if he doesn't get the opportunity to start that he retires. Wentz is a top 15 QB in the NFL at a minimum if the league can't see that he should just retire and run AO1 and do his hunting show. I would pull all charity work from Indy as well.
Personally if they scapegoat Wentz for the failure of the team I hope the Colts are continually drafting 1st overall because they are the worst team in the league. May the Colts be cursed until the end of time.

If C-Dubs ends up in Pittsburgh I'll be a happy camper. The offensive line is terrible but they got a solid receiver corps and a very good young running back. Usually their line isn't bad for long.
That said, a bit amusing to see people bitch about Indianapolis now. When he got traded to them didn't most people say that it was a perfect fit?

Wentz was the most scrutinized QB in the NFL this season. They attacked him when other QB's threw terrible interceptions. The lies spread by the Eagles and Philly media have poisoned the well on Wentz and he may never get a fair shake in the NFL again.

That he was a locker room cancer and that he refused to run plays that were called.
The Eagles had a bunch of WR's that didn't know how to read a defense and run the right routes. They were always in the wrong place even if they looked open. On one play last year Reagor ran a fly route when he was supposed to be a target on a screen pass.
Wentz doesn't deserve to be treated as less than human while NFL writers openly hope that a QB that has sexually assaulted multiple massage therapists gets traded and becomes a starter in the NFL again.
If Wentz gets shut out of a starting job in the NFL next season I may be done with the NFL. They have been making it harder to watch as they get more and more political.
