The vikings also have a very difficult schedule after the euro games, and I don't forsee them being more than 9 wins no matter what, so playing JJ and seeing what he actually is makes sense.
Vikings are not super bowl bound with either qb.
The Vikings have a great Defense, especially when Van Ginkel comes back. You may not have noticed this since your mom wanted to watch PBS cooking shows on commercial breaks.

I really want to see a proper QB controversy in Minnesota. Just because you know they'll get the answer wrong and it'll implode the coaching staff and then he can go coach up Sanders in Cleveland next year.
