The AO1 Foundation takes kids who have life-threatening illnesses, and their families, on dream trips. It also operates a food truck that delivers free meals to underserved communities in Indianapolis. The foundation also helped build a sports complex in Haiti, where Wentz traveled on a mission trip in 2017.
“At the foundation, we want everyone to know they’re loved,’’ Wentz said. “I’ve seen how my faith and life have changed for the better, and I want to share that with people in less fortunate situations.”
So it is this NFL season when Wentz suits up for the Purple, the team he cheered for as a kid in Bismarck, he has a lot on his mind.
Foremost is supporting starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, offering a veteran’s advice as needed, while chucking passes in practice and, if called upon, in games — but only with his right arm.
He’s saving his left arm for bow hunting.
“I resisted bow hunting for quite a while because I’m a busy body and I thought, ‘There’s no way I’m going to sit in a tree for two hours waiting for a deer,’” Wentz said. “Then, during my senior year in college, I tried it. That’s when I found out I was left-eye dominant and started shooting lefthanded. I love it.”

This Vikings team is eerily similar to Eagles 2016-2017 team. They have playmakers across the board. That TE Hockenson reminds me to Philli's Zack Ertz. How about that 62 yard field goal, and then WR Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, wow this team is loaded.

When their offensive line is healthy, they are loaded. Thielen maybe the 4th receiver when Addison is back.

Theilen has been pretty quiet, only a couple of catches in the Atlanta game. Pretty sure Addison will be plugged in right away.
I guess I haven't paid attention after he went to Carolina but he doesn't seem to be the same theilen we saw in Minnesota that made him famous. After that reinjury on his hamstring in 19 and missing half that season he seems to be lacking ability or speed to get that step or so that he was known for.

He was pretty inconsistent in Carolina - he was good right away in 2023 but tailed off significantly and last year he was decent towards the latter half of last season when Bryce Young actually looked like an NFL QB for a month or two. I think the Vikings overpaid giving up what amounts to a 4th or 5th round pick for him.

He’s a solid blocker and has been the key block in some quick outs this year.
