Also the patented flip the ball to the other team so I don't get sacked is actually worse then just getting sacked.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
He did get Philly a really good draft pick eh

Carson definitely has parts of his game that he needs to own up to and correct. If I recall, in the beginning of the year, he was actually hitting a lot more checkdowns. Seems like he started pressing later in the year. I think he gets more blame than he deserves, but I don’t think he is without blame. We’ve seen plenty of QB’s play poorly when their team wasn’t clicking. Wentz’s issue recently has been that he can’t seem to bring it back once things start to unravel.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
If he would quit trying to lob the ball with his left hand when getting sacked, 50% of the complaints would go away. Just stop trying to do too much! Also, if he hits a check down and it doesn't convert then its not all his fault. I believe he'll be on the team next year and will do a little better but not sure that will be enough. They would at least have to make the playoffs for them to have interest in keeping him otherwise he'll be a backup someplace like Mariotta. Not saying that's a bad thing but still.

This is a team that should have been threatening for a conference championship. Making the playoffs is not enough. They'll need to win the division and win a playoff game or two or this will get blown up. They have 7 Pro Bowlers on this team.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
My playoff comment was if Carson did anything and everything for a win but special teams or Defense game up some bone head TD's. Colts definitely need to two playoff games if they don't win the division. Carson may also ride off into the sunset and hunt everything in sight also in the next 3 years.

He has at the very least solidified himself as a solid backup that will hang around the league for many years if he chooses to when his time in Indy is done.

I can’t see him being a backup anywhere. If he isn’t a starter he’ll go all in on hunting and charity work imo

So he is not a team player?

How is that not a team player? Lol if it’s either retire or be a backup I’d pick retire. He’s made enough money.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
It’s pretty easy to find the Wentz haters
First he had good stats but they weren’t winning
Then he brought the eagles the best record in the NFC, but then it became about stats
Then he gets the stats people wanted and it became his fault that his guys were a bunch of practice squad players while the front office was out finding his replacement
Then it was about being injury prone after getting knocked out with a concussion on a cheap shot
Then he goes to Indy and it’s all about wins again
Then it was about who the wins were against
Then it was stats again
And then it was about being clutch down the stretch
The last two games of the season were embarrassing, and he’s the highest paid person in the franchise so he should get the most blame of anyone. He did not play well, but so did many others. Wentz had a decent season this year and was in the top half of pretty much all QB metrics. A joke that the Colts can’t commit to him for next year. Spend the off-season getting a stud WR that can help spread the field and continue to let Carson get comfortable in Indy. This reeks of desperation.
This entire rant was triggered by me just finding out that the Ravens got last place in their division and people will not shut up about Lamar Jackson. Lamar gets to go to the pro bowl with worse stats and a team that finished behind Big Ben’s and Baker Mayfield’s, two QBs who’ve been crucified this year.

Just any fyi his qbr rating is like 25 th in the nfl so your opinion of how well he played and a factual synopsis of how he played are not the same

Dude's I love Carson Wentz. He's just not in Fargo fcs anymore bros. That's just how the nfl is. It's sucks but why try to sugar coat it? Nevermind I'm talking to people who enjoy blowing out teams in January because that's as good as we can gosh dang do eh.

He’s actually 10th of 31 among qualifying QBs. Try again!
Or you could use passer rating where he’s 13th of all qualifying QBs.

How does he rank for fumbles among qbs?

5 according to the site I found.

And those are just the ones he lost. Trust me the guys who sign his million dollar paychecks know about the ones he dropped and the Colts regained too. The last 2 weeks was his chance to shut his critics up but instead he missed a week of practice and the playoffs entirely.

Edit- he was 15th most fumbles with 8, so average. But you bring up a great point. A lot of people talk about his fumbling.
And he’s fumbled the same as the league average
https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/player-stat/fumbles
Looks like there are different classifications on fumbles rushing vs total. You posted fumbles lost

You ever see Tom Brady fumble in the 4th quarter with the game on the line?

You ever see a cat in heat?
No one here has ever compared him to the best QB of all time, except the people trying to argue he’s not doing well.
You want to compare him to Tom Brady? You could also compare him to Justin Fields. Both would be ridiculous comparisons.

He's had more then one chance to shut up his critics and he's failed bro. Just type in Carson Wentz and then look at the news results. The guys who sign his checks are throwing in the towel. That's all that matters. It's big business nfl. That's how it works.

I wish he didn't get the bad publicity I really do. But he's the Roger Marris of our time apparently.
You ever see a ring tailed wampus cat bro? I was in my barn one night and pretty sure that's what I saw.

Maybe the colts just want to be the next QB factory

Yes, in the super bowl loss to the Eagles.

Wentz is a top 10-15 ranked QB in the NFL.
there are really really bad QBS 20-32nd to be honest

If I was Wentz I consider restructuring my deal. He wants to win and one way to show your teammates that I want to win is out a little money on the line. Colts have I believe quite a bit of cap space so they can make some run at some players but Wentz should consider saying u know if The GM has some opportunities for some game changers call me and let’s talk.

I'm not clicking on anything with a douche canoe in a tanktop, gold chain, and gold watch in the youtube thumbnail.
Really, I just wanted to say "douche canoe" because I think it needs to come back.

If we are all that douchey, then none of us are that douchey. There must be a douch hierarchy to truly know what is douchey and what is not.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Well Dak and Jalen take the pressure off of Carson with their playoff performances.
Remember why I gave up on the nfl before the flood of Bison made the pros. Was reminded during the Bengals vs raiders. They talk about that whistle before the td. Well the first Bengal td the ball bounced off the turf and it was never reviewed. I'm not sure the players are involved but the refs really seem to have an impact on the outcome of these big games. And the Dallas move the ball the length of the football thing? Didn't end up mattering but what a bunch of crap.
