Back in the day, the student section was also open to General Admission so it's hard to compare student attendance now to student attendance then. I do know this: There were empty rows and even some UND fans up in the student section at Dacotah at those games once they moved to November. Ah, but, yeah, I don't think that there were empty seats in the FargoDome student section for UND so that is a good comparison - although I'm pretty sure that they just showed up for the game rather than having to claim their tickets.

But according to Lakes all NDSU has to do is start losing and the students will flock to those seats. Interesting idea.

We win too much that our games are too boring to attend. No wonder other fan bases hate us.

the reserve and claim thing is perfect for opening day & homecoming, but bad for late in the year.

NDSU doesnt have to lose i never said that, and I wont fall for your trap discussing the alternative thereby getting Strike 1 :)

Ive said it before and I'll say it again... Need to either fall back to the pack or find a new challenge. Student interest is waning.

If this game is "decided"early... It will not look good at all.

Your generation sucks. No appreciation for anything. No other time in Bison history has been this great and the students are "bored" of it??? Cut their damn allotment to 2000 and give real fans a chance to get in there. Utter disrespect to what your fellow classmates are doing. Students years ago worked damn hard to get the allotment up to 4000 and now the students take advantage of it like they are owed it. Pisses me off as I'm scrambling every week to fulfill requests by fans that are dying to get in and paying a boat load more than they need to.

OK let's stop the "disrespectful" deal. We don't owe our classmates anything. I was with you before you said that.... And agree with the stuff after that.... But to say we are being disrespectful is just silly.
