Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.

An article from a weird online publication that mentions there are rumors that the Jets are interested in signing Wentz as a bridge QB. This article mentions a replacement for him before he even gets there and the replacement is a guy that hasn't really done anything.
I think Wentz needs to make a good choice with his next signing and that signing as a backup might be better than as a starter for some of these organizations.
My order would be:
1. Steelers
2. Titans
3. Saints
4. Raiders
5. Browns
6. Chiefs (as backup)
7. Rams (if Stafford leaves this moves up the list)
8. Stay home and wait on a good opportunity
15. Jets
31. Giants

Time is running out so I don't know how picky he can be. He's 32 an the older end of the NFL age scale is 35-36
He will make 3.5 million as a backup so unless a team wants to pay him dramatically more to be a bridge starter, does it make sense to be a backup? Depends what Carson wants
He's earned 132 million in his career and has played for 5 teams in 5 years

Pucknut9, any insider information on what is going on with Carson? It seems like he may end up back with the Chiefs as Mahomes backup.

I'll take him in Pittsburgh. One last hurrah lol

Good to hear he has some irons in the fire. When you read the NFL media (which hates him for some reason) they don't even mention him as an available QB unless it is dismissive and in passing. I hope wherever he ends up he is with a good organization that actually gives him good coaching and an actual shot.

Let's start the rumor and maybe KOC will just roll with it?

Who are the Vikings' veteran quarterback options left in free agency?
With Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, and Nick Mullens all gone, the Vikings need to add a vet to complement J.J. McCarthy in their quarterback room.
