Hard to say. His time with the Colts was actually decent as he had a good year with the Colts but the national narrative was different. He threw for 3,600 yards with 27tds and 7 ints. Colts I don't believe have had near that production since. That Colts team wasn't as good as people initially thought either. The defense blew some leads and kickers missed FGs to lose games but Wentz took the whole blame. So he did have a good season after that concussion.
I have mentioned this before but I believe there are usually like 5 great QBs in the league that can change a franchise and then there are guys from 6-15 that need a good oline and a good team around them and then they can take you far. Guys like Darnold are in this category and I have always felt Wentz was in this category. These 6-15 guys tend to really struggle with a bad oline. The key for franchises is to not overpay for this level of QB.
He didn't have many INTs, but there were a few very badly timed ones on bad decisions by him. Overall, he had a good year, but not a great year. When they needed him to make a play, he wasn't able to make that play.
I think the COVID stuff was the reason he was traded, though. He was adamant about not testing or taking precautions, and many on the team followed his lead. They did get hot in the back half of the season and were the team nobody wanted to play. Then, several players were diagnosed with COVID and had to sit out. They lost the last 2 games, including the last week against a terrible Jacksonville team where Carson had a really bad game. It was very bad timing for getting COVID, and Carson took the blame due to his leadership stance.

And in reality, he was actually being a good leader. Nobody should be forced to put something into their body that they are not comfortable with....especially something that has been shown to have possible severe health complications.

And since it's been proven that the "vaccine" didn't actually stop anyone from catching covid, any of those players who had to sit out would most likely have got covid and sat out anyway. The real problem was the quarantine and shut down idiocy and all the sheep who believed The Science™ scam.

Instead they have a qb who took himself out of a game defining drive because he was tired lol
Not only that but crazy boomer covid cuck owner replaced Carson with the great Matty "Ice" Ryan and they were way worse! Thinking they were a QB away was a crazy boomer covid cuck!
