The NFL might cut it down to five days for everyone, regardless of vax status...

If new protocols say it's five days from a positive test (i.e. yesterday), Carson Wentz could be cleared by Saturday. Stay tuned.

Absolutely. Would love to still see a Super Bowl win with him as the starter yet to come.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
From an availability perspective with the highly transmissible nature of it seems like close contact is the worst case scenario. He’s on restriction for a period of time and then if he has a positive test in a couple of days his clock starts over again.
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
NFL.com says he tested positive.
Wentz tested positive and is unvaccinated, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
I believe from a availability standpoint that the best route would be if he tested positive himself (with the new CDC recommendation and if NFLPA/NFL go along with it) that way he’s clear till after the super bowl. Obviously he’d have to be a asymptomatic or his symptoms in regression for this to happen.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Everyone is going to get omicron.
Fear mongers will continue to pretend that’s a bad thing.
Just let them play.

Agreed. I remember Rodgers getting skewered in the media for not being straightforward with his vaccination status. I don't agree with Carson's personal choice regarding vaccination, but I also haven't heard any evidence of him being careless with the protocols for the unvaccinated. He's around other people all the time so he's still at risk of catching a very contagious virus. I'm hoping the guidance is updated to 5 days and he can play Sunday assuming he would be unlikely to infect anyone at that point.

The first is probably true.
The second probably isn’t.
I don’t really care about the third.

It's a bad thing if unvaccinated people get it and have a serious illness or die when being vaccinated could largely prevent those negative outcomes.

Nobody that's unvaccinated is getting serious ill or dying from Omicron?

First death was like last week and the bro had a lot of underlying health issues.
CAS and I ran the numbers and you actually have a negative percent chance to die from the cron if you’re supplementing d3 and ivermaktin.

Was also previously infected. Thought natural immunity would have saved him.
In the end, I honestly hope it is less deadly than prior variants.

At this point, if someone is unvaccinated and they take a turn for the worse, it's on them. It sucks but it is what it is. I've got an immunocompromised aunt who is vaccinated along with my uncle, but she regularly sees my cousin who refuses to get the vaxx. It sucks but there ain't shit I can do about it.

The new variant is not a public health emergency. Only the media and the current administration is pushing that narrative.

South African data and first hand reports definitely make it look more like a cold than the flu.

Depending on what the underlying issues are, previous infection may mean very little. Some people just don't have an immune system, I really feel for these people, this has to be a never ending hell for them.

Don't know with this guy but many think prior infections give them all the protection they need. It's too bad this guy didn't get vaccinated before getting sick again.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Two years now. One side of the aisle will never let this covid stupidity end. Just let people live their lives. If the Bison or Montana State test any of their players for this not-even-a-cold between now and Jan. 8, then they are beyond ridiculous.

Just forget about the testing BS already and treat it like the flu or a cold FFS! I've been saying this since the vaccines came out!

Please send documentation via PM. You can redact personal info/data. Dead serious. But, if it doesn’t say Omricon, don’t bother.

As I understand this, most PCR tests cannot definitively identify which strain of COVID you have. There are markers such as the S-Gene target failure that can be hint towards Omicron vs Delta/other variants, but unless they have done a genetic sequencing of your infection, there is no way to know definitively. Generally this type of testing is done at the CDC level using a percentage of positive results from across the country (similar to how they determine which type of Influenza is most prominent on a year-to-year basis to determine which flu shot they give). When they do the sequencing, the personal identifying information is not given to the labs (I think for HIPPA reasons... could be wrong, but I know it deals with privacy).
The odds are EXTREMELY low that your ("your" being a general term referring to everyone reading this rather than any one specific bisonviller) local doctors office has done the genetic sequencing to definitively diagnose your test as Omicron. It's more likely that they identified the S-Gene Target Failure in your PCR test and said that it was likely Omicron due to that.

The TLDR version is only reptilians like tjamz can differentiate between strains.

Pretty fucking Simple Doc T: he said he tested positive for omricon. I asked to see it. Nothing over complicated, like you are trying to make it.
With all of your scieticific/Google searches that you self-promote here, one should think (incorrectly of course) that you’d understand, assuming that one person subscribes to your bullshit.
BTw, I know hundreds/1000s who have managed Covid without dying, of all age groups. Nice try with your earlier scare porn.

ESPN’s (left) agenda vs. Sports Illustrated’s (right) non-agenda. AND, just a few headlines down on ESPN’s, it mentions Bruce Arians testing positive. No mention in the title or entire article about him being vaccinated.
