Carson is going to need a bunch more of these games before he can be considered as a possible starter.

If he is going to be a backup next year I prefer he stays with the Rams. He is getting great coaching there.

It’s the nfl bro. Baker mayfield got a shot of one or two games too.
It could and should happen.

Lots of people always refer back to 2017 but he had really good years in 18 and 19 and people forget his line and wrs were really injured those years.
He still took way too much crap for his year in Indy as he had a good year. Crud he had 27 tds to only 7 ints that year.

The problem with Indy was yea he only threw 7 picks, but those picks came at worst possible time in those games so they looked way bigger. I agree he had a very good year in Indy and took way too much blame, I mean look at how inept the offense looked the year after he left. It was obvious Carson wasn't the issue. But again, when those picks came and then that last game against the Jags is what pushed him out there.

He could have thrown 0 picks. Irsay was getting rid of him over Covid shot either way.

We'll see but I'm guessing some team will give him a shot, there's a lot worse starters in the league.

If geno smith can start and get the contract he did then Carson surely can.

If Carson wants to play cheap the broncos are in a rough spot. They’re going to have to pay Wilson to play somewhere else. Their cap sucks. They either need a rookie qb or an affordable journeyman.

The problem with a lot of sparkly and shiny NFL prospects is that there is an awful lot of hype that no NFL player can possibly live up to. Then once they do not live up to the fans' unrealistic expectations (due to the hundreds of dynamics in football), the piling-on criticism starts. Carson has done well, and we never had to worry about him embarrassing himself or NDSU with any scandals. He is also a smart and ethical man and no matter what, he will do well post-NFL.
