Yes, it would have been a good hire. The first thing Davis would have said in the OC coach's room is, "You're shittin' me !!!!! THAT'S your playbook ????

SDSU lost WR coach Josh Davis to USD. Reports out there that RB coach Andre Crenshaw is headed to Western Kentucky and DL coach Christian Smith is going to Northwestern (the one in the B1G). Stig will have to replace at least three assistants for the second year in a row.

Missouri State President believes Athletics Program will move to FBS
https://www.news-leader.com/story/sp...t/70189082007/
Highlights:
-For Missouri State athletics, it's starting to look more like a "when" and not an "if" the school will move up a subdivision in Division I football, based on recent comments by the university's president.
-Reports have connected MSU to the likes of the Sun Belt and Conference USA for several years.
-Based on current expenses, which would increase with a move to a new conference because of additional scholarships being handed out and travel among other reasons, Missouri State would be on par with some of the top spenders in the next iteration of Conference USA and nearly $8 million below the Sun Belt median.
wow.. great... fantastic.. :(

UNI beat writer on who might replace XDSUs in the MVFC when they ultimately leave for FBS in the near future
UST, SEMO
EIU, UT Martin
EKU, APU
Interesting list. It’s still July so what the hell, why not keep posting this stuff. Can UST afford scholarship FB?
MVFC will be fine
Seems likely to become less upper-midwest (Dakota) centric but that could be a good thing that other members embrace
Looking forward to the season
Well, I find this "woe is us" crap pretty sickening from UND fans when for so many years, they tried (and some still try) to make it sound like NDSU won national championships because of getting unearned home fields*, but then get upset when they can't buy home field themselves with no quality wins and four losses.
NDSU suffered five 17+ pt losses since 2002 compared to UND's THIRTY-SEVEN, including the three just last year.
* This is a load of crap, of course.
