Unfortunate for a game heading toward a fun finish. No. 8 UC Davis held a 21-3 halftime lead on No. 11 Mercer. But Mercer came within 23-17 before a lightning delay occurred midway through the 4th.
And big picture, this could impact playoff positioning as this would have been a big win for either team’s resume.

The 2nd FBS win in Tarleton State’s young D1 history.
Tarleton was a 2-TD underdog. Army went 12-2 last year and was picked 6th in the AAC preseason media poll.
Montana State looking really bad against Oregon. I know it’s Oregon but MSU can’t tackle, block, or even get punts off. 17-0 halfway through the 1st.
