The play we were talking about really had nothing to do with Wentz. It was 4th and 1 and they called a slow developing run to the backup RB that was absolutely blown up.
Wentz has played like shit thus far and nobody has made an excuse for him on here.

Probably why Carson is a backup and not a starter. Bad playcalls on every team he's played for in the NFL.

You know, Carson can be a bad QB and the OC can make a bad play call. Two things can be true at the same time. Unless you're trying to say that if Carson was a better QB that toss sweep would have worked.

Yeah, and no one has made any excuses for his play today. He's thrown two horrible pick and made two horrible passes on swings to the RB. Not a good game so far at all and it's all on him. No one else.

I agree with you that the excuse wagon for Wentz is a big one on here but again, I said no one TODAY has made any excuses. Please show me where TODAY someone had tried to blame his poor play on someone or something else. And calling out a bad play call is not making an excuse. That would have been a bad play call if Patrick Mahomes was back there as well.
