And NDSU does not bring any money or big time viewer markets to an FBS conference. So unless you all can come up with a way to convince an FBS conference to send an invite you might as well forget about it!
like when the big east wanted boise state and san diego state?

Let me address this in the order you brought them up.
1. Don't know what you mean by I am the broken record.
2. So you want to jack up the ticket prices on those fans, assuming they are just loaded with money because they sit between the 30s.
3. You are wrong, not every bowl game draws 2 million viewers, and even if it did, it does so only because it is the only game on at that time, not because people just can't wait to watch the Haines Underwear Jock Strap Bowl
4. He did answer your question, you just did not like the answer, the answer was, How do you know they have not looked into it or checked it out. You don't have to announce that a committee was hired to do some fact finding.
The issue with the stadium is not how much it generates in money, it is the issue of asses in seats.

The Big East is hurting, it would take a team from Russia if it could.

Its stupid shit like this is just one of the reasons NDSU hates this site.
Univ. of Texas hates shaggybevo...who cares if they hate us :)

So even if NDSU went FBS, how many fans outside of those connected with NDSU in some way are going to watch us? Pretty much zero. Most of you "Move to the FBS lovers" act like we can just snap our our fingers and we are heading to the FBS. Major issues need to be addressed like lets say ohhhhhh GETTING INVITED IN THE FIRST PLACE, or how about the stadium issue and the $300,000,000.01 or so price tag,how about location location location as to where we fit in the MAC(to far to the west) or the Mountain West(to far to the east), or the $40,000,000.03 annual athletic department cost (because everyone wants to be like Boise St) and all the costs it covers like pay increases for all sports coaches.....scholarships....travel costs go up cause were not going to be playing Valley City in anything...... in addition of women's sports or added scholarships there as well. How about you figure out those questions/problems first before you ruin NDSU.
no one watches those teams..yet the FCS championship was only ahead of like 2 bowl games when it came to view ratings last year?
good analogy there bud.

I just want to puke when I hear this broken record excuse OVER AND OVER AGAIN. You make it sound like it near impossible to be invited into a FBS conference. IF NDSU decided to go up, it would not be difficult to join the MAC or Sunbelt. All FCS conferences, not just the BSC conferences, are expanded to form superconferences. All conferences ideally want 16 team conferences, with two eight team divisions. Big Ten has added two more teams: Maryland and Rutgers. (LOCATION LOL) The Sun Belt has added Idaho, App. State and Georgia Southern. The non BCS conferences will be looking to expand for survival. From the MAC and Sunbelt's perspective, (and even the MWC), North Dakota State is an attractive addition. They would be near the top in attendance for football (MAC teams inflate their attendance figures). Our new basketball arena would be competitive and we would have the best baseball stadium in the conference. (I researched this last night.) NDSU would be a great addition to the Sun Belt conference and a good addition to the MAC conference.
Of course, if we just "wait" and see our opportunity might pass up by when the conferences fill up with 16 teams. Then NDSU is stuck where it is at, unless they want to be an independent like BYU.

Hmm...so if we wait we might lose our potential spot? Which one of these fcs teams that cant fill a stadium is going to take our spot???
