The one thing that stood out to me is the running backs werent running blind in to the offensive lines backside time after time. When they got the ball they looked to see what was open. If there was nothing they broke to the outside and did well in doing so.
This is a good observation and a big deal... coming into this game USD RB Phillips was averaging over 5 yards per carry after contact. I don’t know what is was in this game but I don’t recall much for missed tackles. Yeah just wear yellow or green or just something with a prominent NDSU logo. The only time this should matter is if we’re playing an opponent with a common primary color, then it might make sense to coordinate all Green or all Yellow. But even that is splitting hairs.
