Jaden's uncle Chuck was an AA for NDSU. Aunt was a starting center for NDSU. Grandpa played hoops for NDSU. He is a terrific young athlete. Sister will graduate next season at UND.

Peter Udoibok - 6’ 4” 200 - WR - Cretin-Derham Hall - 2019 NDSU offer
Was dreaming on Udoibok being the tall WR recruit in this class, but that just got a little tougher as Rice offered him. Other offers include Northern Iowa. NDSU lost LB Antonio Montero (Eden Prairie)(Minnesota Mr Football) late in recruiting to Rice.
Was trying to think of any players from a Cretin-Derham Hall to play for the Bison, but am drawing a blank. Anyone?

- Jackrabbits follow up another FBS offer (Rice)
with an offer of their own to WR Peter Udoibok.
(SDSU had offered a different 6’ 4” WR in the last week, who on the same day committed to Iowa State)
- South Dakota offers Maple Grove RB Evan Hull (2019 NDSU offer).
Hull has at least 10 offers now, including some from the Ivy League.

Rice doesn't feel like much of an upgrade either. Win some you lose some.

Should be an asterisk placed by nearly every team in the G5 who make offers as they are NDSU peers, not superiors.

Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
According to Ryan Burns, WR Treyton Welch - 6’ 3” 205 - Buffalo MN -
has been offered a preferred walk-on by Minnesota. Welch is a 2019 NDSU interest.

Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
Kempton Shine - CB - 5’ 11” 175 - Chicago (St Rita) (2019 NDSU offer)
Now offered by Northern Illinois

Air Force & Yale have now also offered.
Ryan Burns reports an offer could be near from Minnesota after Peter Udoibok did well at the Gophers’ recent camp. Udoibok has an ambitious camp schedule in June, so looks like the next NDSU 2019 offer to blow up in recruiting, ala Sioux Falls Lincoln OL Grant Treiber (The 6’ 6” 280 lb Treiber has recent offers from Missouri - Oregon - Iowa State - Nebraska - Wisconsin - Minnesota).

David Roddy is the 2019 NDSU offer at QB. Also doing well at spring basketball (6’ 4” 250).
FBS teams, including the Gophers, want to see Roddy at TE/DE also, so will be interesting to see how set he is at playing QB at the next level. Or is it basketball? (Northern Iowa offer, also Colorado State, St Louis)

Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
Peter Udoibok - 6’ 4” 200 - WR - Cretin-Derham Hall - 2019 NDSU offer
Now has a Wyoming offer.
-
Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
And Wyoming also offers QB David Roddy (Breck) in football.
Roddy also gets another basketball offer - from Wofford.

That was a pretty interesting interview. I like his answers and reason for his decision. I hope he stays locked in but time will tell.
-
Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
I liked his answer as to why NDSU over K State, Cincinnati and the other FBS schools ... Because they're afraid to play the Bison. Thought that was not only a funny answer but pretty telling about how those wins have recruting power.

Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
Evan Hull - RB - Maple Grove - (2019 NDSU offer) finishes 2nd in Minnesota 100M at 11.07, behind Ethan Peal at 11.04 (St Michael-Albertville) on a wet, rainy day.

Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
Travis Yohnke Parkers Prairie has now been offerred by all of NDSU rivals. UNI & SDSU, other MVFC schools as well. He was at SDSU this weekend.
NDSU needs this kid, absolute beast.
Mike Felt works there, he needs to earn that scholarship money we gave him :)

Don’t think you a lot of offers will come out after NDSU’s prospect camp?

Oh, Yohnke has an early offer from NDSU.
Good basketball player also! Nice prep for 6’ 4” - 6’ 5” college TE’s.
IIRC El Chapo has been a longtime proponent of Yohnke becoming a Bison.
Hope the BIG’s (Gophs) stay away......

I know. I was insinuating that maybe we should wait until after camp. Usually we pick up some verbals then.

Evan Hull article
http://m.startribune.com/maple-grove...kes/485749881/
Quote:
Maple Grove running back Evan Hull rushed for over 2,100 yards and 19 touchdowns last season, helping the Crimson to its fifth consecutive state tournament appearance.
This fall, the incoming senior hopes to help the team win its first state championship.......
......Recruiting interest:
Hull said he started being recruited last summer after attending the University of Minnesota football camp. He received his first scholarship offer from North Dakota in early February and has since received offers from Buffalo, North Dakota State, Air Force and most of the schools in the Ivy League.
Hull, whose goal is to play for a Power Five school, said it’s humbling to receive interest from colleges. He said he ranks schools in part on how interested they seem in him, something he gauges by talking with coaches.
“I want to go somewhere where I feel like I’m really wanted,” he said.......

Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
This kid is pretty good; I've watched him a few times. Currently SDSU, UND, and USD offers. He is not big, but very athletic. Wonder if coming to NDSU individual camp?
