It will certainly tighten up but based on last night I don't think Dave knows which 8 or 9 guys that's going to be, I think 8 are probably locks with 3 guys battling it out for that last spot. From what I saw last night I think our best lineup is:

DWT
Tay Smith
Trevion Carson
Strickland
Feddy

Then Andy, Anderson and Carson Smith off the bench. Majerle, Skytta and true freshman Massey are the guys that could fill the 9th spot in the rotation and based on last night I think Massey looked the best out of the 3. Will likely see them all play throughout non-con and then the rotation will trim down.

Amusing that Dave, about the 11-0 Gopher scoring run, said, “Maybe in a regular-season game, I call time out, but it’s an early learning opportunity. I want some guys to plow through it.”

You've NEVER called time outs during scoring runs against you, at least not that I've ever seen. Except after it's too late to squelch their momentum. Then you just turn red and wave your arms around.

I 100% had this exact thought. It reminded me of Waddles going off on us and Dave not using a timeout to stop the run and us losing a game we had a double digit lead in to the eventual league champs. Dave never calls timeouts and it's beyond frustrating.
