Unless you're talking about a giant project like a stadium or IPF, I completely agree with you. That's what I liked about Jay's approach. You get the little guys chipping in 20 bucks a month and it ultimately leads to a steady revenue stream and they provide free advertising and tell all ther Bison friends. The more people spreading the word will help it grow organically
But Jay could still help the cause by posting something on the old collective Facebook page or updating the website
We donated some money for giving day to non-athletic programs and finally got around to signing up for a monthly donation to the green and gold fund.

My understanding is this was not even a possibility. Because of how this was handled, I am out.

Must have been for some bureaucratic reason. At the end of the day the student athletes are the only people who lost. I guess we will just have to rebuild but raising 350k in a day for the collective, with 10 hours to go is a hell of a start. Long term it will be as good or better just based on the raw marketing power NDSU Athletics and the Foundation. Hopefully they can get Jay back in the mix. He brought some great grassroots efforts to the mix.
Jay donated a hell of a lot of his time to get this ball rolling. His enthusiasm is infectious!
