I remember Piepkorn as OL, but I couldn't tell you what position he played in HS. The OL then looked like a collection of TE, a lot of 6 4 guys at 260.

Why, as Bert Blyleven has taught us, everyone knows the Athlete is the pitcher :)
The question Mr B was responding to:
So could be any of the 3 positions, has that sprinters speed (10.7 personal best).Quote:

Currently setting td records at QB and playing DB, but at 6’ 1” 180ish could play elsewhere (besides QB).
Did read that Price is currently sidelined by injury (high ankle sprain?).
Recruiting a kid as an "athlete" is a recruiting term that deems the individual to have some position flexibility. Not talking about this kid right now...but typically an "athlete" is a kid who could play WR, Corner, Safety....just get the kid...find a spot for him. Term is probably used a lot more on like 4 and 5 star kids at high major programs. Freaks that can play anywhere.
Honestly, when you watched us lose last year in the playoffs, you saw ATHLETES! Watching their special teams was amazing. So many kids that can run and jump. They were better than us on teams.
Back to this kid in particular. He is being recruited to be a DB. That spot can be determined. Dudzik changed positions from corner to safety after his Freshman year. I actually sort of hope this kid does have an ankle sprain! Keep FBS offers away. He is quite an athlete! I didn't know he is hurt, but we have two current verbals with torn ACL's. tough luck for the young kids, but they have a ton of time to get ready. Should also help them stay BISON! Long way to go until the early signing date!

Price leads Mulvane
In Class 4A-I, District 5 play, Mulvane (5-3, 2-0) locked up the district title with a 35-7 win at Wellington on the Crusaders’ Homecoming. Mulvane standout quarterback Jayden Price, a North Dakota State commit who has been banged up this season, ran for 145 yards and passed for 60. He had four rushing scores, including a key 61-yard burst in the fourth quarter that effectively put the game out of reach.
JP makes it official.
