Brock Jensen is a Saint! You shut your whore mouth. Carson Wentz couldn't pass him on the depth chart.
Brent Vigen is 6-1 right now without any of those guys. Must have rubbed off.

I suspect we have different definitions of what legends are.

Re: 2021 Verbal: Cole Payton
We've been soo blessed, starting with Benny and Simmey. Brock,
Wentz, Easton and Lance were superb and all with NFL experience.
Brock might have had a chance at a national championship but
for the worst call ever on Austin Richard. Lost in the shuffle is
the original #ll, Steve Walker. He got it started. Weren't able to play
for anything, but the play to Heckendorf at Cal Poly and also to him
in the corner against Sam Houston were a couple of plays for the ages.
He should never be left out of the picture of our great QB's.

Steve Walker would have at least two rings if not for the stupid NCAA rules.
He's the godfather of the current tradition IMO.

The 2006 team might have competed for one because they had a great defense all around including 2 future NFL Safties (Dahl/Schoemer) and 2 NFL linebackers (Mays/Humber) The D line was deeper too but the offense wasn't as good
The 2007 team had a better offense but just didn't have the defensive line or depth in the secondary. We were starting 5-8 corners late in the year and gave up a shit ton of points. Good players like May's, Schoemer and Humber but no depth

Right now he is learning the system and he's the best player on the team not named Watson. He's our leading rusher too.
This did not age well.
