“It’s bigger than football,” Entz said, referring to the family ties. “I think it tells you the depth of this program. Kellen and Konner Entz were Bison since they were in the second and third grade. It just happens and kudos to our players. Kellen and Konnor have had 100 big brothers the whole time they were in Fargo.”

It didn’t come without father-son emotions tied to it, either. Taylor had to compose himself for a moment when talking about his son Jared, who is a defensive assistant with the Bison. Devin Klieman is the NDSU safeties coach and Kellen Entz is a sophomore receiver.

pay athletes for all sports.

programs would collectively have to cut about 65 student-athletes.
