Pretty easy to find out, look at the roster. He's listed as a sophomore, played in 10 games last year.

I am hoping Ross or someone will post the depth chart for the upcoming game when it is available.

This depth chart hasn't changed since the UND game. That is interesting, in part, because Mason Hofstedt was injured in the UND game and there were reports that he would be having surgery soon. He is still listed as #2 at WLB behind Mercadel.
For fans who really want to know about the depth chart, you'll learn much more by paying attention to who actually plays in the games, and under what circumstances. There are many nuances. For example, Spencer Waege isn't listed on the depth chart. Does anyone believe he isn't one of our top 8 d-linemen? Cole Jacob is listed as a #2 at WR, but we haven't thrown a pass in his direction. However, Jacob is probably the best blocker in the WR group. He is often on the field when we go "heavy" with 22 personnel.
Finally, another way to get a glimpse of what the depth chart looks like in a particular week is, if you are at the game, to watch warm-ups, especially the 11-on-11 segment.
