There are multiple judicial philosophies on the court. It is what it is. Sotomayor came my 1L year to talk to us. She was very charming. One of my professors clerked for her. Guessing she did him a favor. I would probs rarely agree with her, but they all take the job seriously. If you can't tell, I presume they all are serious people who are trying their best. Yeah, sincere people who try hard can be wrong. That’s not a terribly impressive credential when it comes to the highest court in the land.
Apparently three of them think that sincerely held religious beliefs that aren’t actually a part of the religious teachings that the people sincerely holding them claim to believe in are more important than the military chain of command. I’m not a constitutional scholar but I know enough to know that’s some Flying Spaghetti Monster level nonsense.

These are fans that are posting comments from the game or while watching the game so they weren't media driven. They started early in the season when they were 1-4. There was just something about his play that rubbed people the wrong way. I thought he played fine and wasn't the reason they struggled at times.
The vaccination idea is just pure speculation on my part based on observations of my own. They were doing great the middle part of the season but once several players started testing positive they slipped the last 2 weeks. That's just putting two known factual things together and considering a relationship. It aligns with the fact that players and coaches said positive things about him. No idea if there is any truth to it so don't take it any inside knowledge or commentary on my personal opinion about vaccination.
