Rolled up bad on his ankle. On the sideline walking, shook his head and said "I can't ".

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
He also needs to stop trying to fling the ball and make miracle plays, should have just took the safk and kicked the FG which they ultimately got anyway instead of over the shoulder tossing it out for anyone
Hope he is ok

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
They taped up his ankle. Cleats are on and he's testing it.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
LA about to go up by 3. 2:23 left no timeouts for Colts.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Wentz is done for the day. Jacob Eason comes in.

I thought it was reckless at first, but after watching the replay, he actually starts the throw as a forward pass while looking at his target. If Mahomes or Rodgers did that, the announcers would be raving about how they always give their team a chance to make a play.

One might argue he’s catching too many.

Several plays he's was given exactly 1.5 seconds, yet colts fans on Twitter being the QB coaches they are saying he was hanging on to long.
I thought Indy had a better oline than Philly

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
I guess my point is he was not the cause of the loss today from what I saw but I'm not a coach
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Bah, hope Carson is OK.
I've been watching the Eagles... they freaking almost murdered a RB. The first defender hit the RB with a leading elbow (might have knocked him out) and then second defender hit the RB helmet to helmet from the other side. Then the 49ers RB face planted - which was better than it could have been because the helmet-to-helmet came close to making him hit the turf with the top-back of his helmet which could have broken his neck.

If it's grade 1 could be out for up to 3 weeks. 2 weeks is a possibility as well.
Bad sprain he could be out for 6 weeks.
Hopefully he is back next week.

#Colts Carson Wentz
R ankle sprain: No expecting a long term absence. Ankle will slowly swell/stiffen up over the course of a half hour or so after injury, making it difficult to return. Expect MRI tomorrow. Worth noting, this is not the same foot that had surgery

If true and a sprain only, it's a miracle Donald didn't break it. It looked far worse than that.

He was not in a boot for the press conference. I'm still guessing it's a 2 week recovery.

pucknut9,
What are the chances you can get a Duane’s pizza out to Indy tomorrow?

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Not sure a team started the year tougher than Indy. SEA then LAR. Hope they can right the ship vs Tennessee.

My two cents: I feel a lot better about routing through Europe where I am actually paying the nfl for their product, than this which is clear piracy. But that just just me as I am also bending the rules.

If WEntz is out like 2 weeks, thats most likely 2 more losses with that mess of an oline.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if the further Indy slides out the Colts just not play him to hang on to that 1st round pick. They are going to need it.

Just a note on these pirate sites... there is a distinct possibility that they are set up by law enforcement as honey traps.

I remember thinking when Carson went to Indy that he'd at least finally have a pocket and not be running for his life all game.
WTF went wrong there?

You have to wonder what is up with that. He's had arguably the worst oline protection-wise for going on 4 years now. This Indy oline might be the worst oline he's played behind in his career. Meanwhile, Philadelphia's oline is actually pretty good this year statistically.

Didn't their best or second best lineman retire early if I am not mistaken after last year. Everyone will blame Carson which I feel really bad about.
To me, unfortunately as a big Carson rube, and also a realistic is that he is turning into a QB like Cousins. A guy that is a good QB not a great QB and needs everything around him to make the team good.

But less durable than Cousins. It is a bummer, I’d like to see what Carson could be behind a good line

I agree that he is unlikely to go down as a great QB unless something changes, but Wentz is much more of a playmaker than Cousins IMO. No way cousins gets the 2019 Eagles into the playoffs.
