Those 6-6 teams that just played are what 99% of what FCS is so let’s see, to .500 FBS teams are what all of the FCS is. Meaning FBS would be a step up.

Those poor nationally ranked 11-2 G5 teams have to play in Orlando! That’s got to be rough going to a place like that.

Yes we’ve already been told over and over that 20k bison fans would be flocking there. Another absolute gaurantee when the move goes down. I’ll be looking at vrbo and flights soon.

Roads wouldn’t allow it, the risk outweighed the reward and and I can sit in a shop with fellow UND fans and root for incarnate word just for Reps. So I’m stuck watching another electric atmosphere going down in Orlando and dreaming of an NDSU football game and sea world. Going FBS is more about the regular season than post season. But it could create great bowl opportunities or maybe a chance in the CFP. As far as a bowl like Frisco, I'm just as likely to go to that as a championship game. The best part of the experience for me is seeing a lot of my college friends. Many of them would be at either, so it would be fun regardless of where it is.

Exactly. you'd have from Nov 24 or Dec 1 (if in championship game) until. Dec 20-Jan1 to plan a trip!

but it 1000% helps the regular season and AMAZING ooc Games

NDSU would get on Big 10 Big 12 SEC schedules yearly.

If teams are scared to schedule NDSU when they are FCS why would they when they are FBS? The threat of losing will be the same or greater, will they not? And won't a loss to a G5 with a 12 team playoff looming be just as devastating?

Your line of reasoning with Chapo is off base. He wants NDSU to FBS for his own ego and lack self-satisfaction, and so that he can go on FBS boards and be “at their level”, regardless of whether NDSU FB is successful. That really doesn’t matter to him.

Its all about self satisfaction/prestige, and living vicariously through NDSU football/athletics. He knows his own past can’t measure up (or maybe he doesn’t?) and he’s advocating for a future that, perhaps, may. This is about Chapo/Lakes/Sam feeling good/better about himself because of his past/life-history, not his desire for NDSU athletics success.

This has been fact checked for accuracy and found to be 100% accurate. There are valid reasons for moving to FBS and sometimes mentions them, but this is really his only reason. The others are just noise.

Actual attendance at the Frisco Bowl was less than half that number, way less. Extremely pathetic for being in a teams backyard.

Championship will be packed this year.

Losing the playoff format and replacing it with shitty bowls is the worst part about moving up. G5 needs an NIT style tournament.
