Entirely possible. Hope it works out for him.

I think it was George Carlin who wondered why athletes praise God when they win, but never say they lost because Jesus made me drop the ball.

Carson Wentz is a committed Christian who puts his money where his faith is. His Philly teammates were leery of going to some of the places in Haiti that Carson didn’t bat an eyelash going to in his efforts to help the folks there. He places God, family, and work at the top of his priorities, and in that order.
The ironic and unfortunate part is that in this day and age, all of these things make him open game and a target for many.
Hoping he has great success in Washington on and off the field. As others have pointed out already, he will be fine in any case!

I haven’t heard a single negative thing said about the work he’s done in Haiti. He also doesn’t seem to have a persecution complex.

Maybe if you watch the actual video and get the full context you will understand better what he was talking about. He was speaking about how God can be helpful in your life as you face adversity. This was the day of or day after the trade. The Colts employee that had previously set up the engagement talked about how many athletes wouldn't have shown up after being blindsided by being traded.
I for one am proud of what Carson has done through his AO1 Foundation. Go Bison! Good luck in Washington, Carson! I will be cheering you on!

Haven't posted in a while, but there's so much piling on with everyone dumping on Carson, I have to wonder how much is real, versus how much is stupid social media amplification. I thought he had an ideal setup in Indy, but it didn't work out. Unrealistic expectations or Carson's inherent flaws: that debate will go on for a while. Moving ahead, I'm glad he has another chance, and I hope he can begin to trust his teammates and coaches.

#1 - 95% of the Wentz stuff is BS and CLICK BAIT Generated (the Filthadelphia fans follow it all and click on anything Wentz bashing)
#2 - 95% of players Wentz played with had ZERO problem with him. WE can point to about 10 actual real life quotes from playing loving Wentz...... (my fav was something about Sproles getting in Carsons' face... Carson helped Sproles convince his nephew phoenix to come to NDSU!!) that writer got roasted online bigtime
#3 - Carson is a big GOD guy, but pretty sure he doesn't walk around the lockerroom with the bible & donation plate.... nfl lockerrooms are rap music and loosy goosy.
#4 - Carson Wentz doesn't let it any of it bother him, that's why I love the way he has reacted to all this. GO YOUTUBE his interview with Pat Mcafee when he was in studio... amazing.

Its 90% chapo mouthbreathing hitting refresh until he finds something new. Dude is on his third team in three years. There is gonna be negative stuff out there.
Washington is giving him a third shot. Most guys don't get that chance. Just hope he plays well.
