I saw a tweet about SP+ or one of the big rankings systems showing FBS teams ranked 1-9 are collectively 28 points worse and teams ranked 10-25 are ranked about 25 points better than 2019. Seems the rational takeaway if that trend holds is that NIL and portal have created a lot of parity in CFB. Kids who might normally end up at the same 5-10 teams are either committing elsewhere to secure a bag or transferring away if their not starting.
