Just add lacrosse . Cheaper and sport is growing. With infrastructure in place at Ndsu(IPF Dome and Dacotah field) and our culture we can compete for the national championship pretty quickly. It could be our niche sport like und hockey

UND theoretically has 2 chances to win D1 championships. Right now NDSu has 1. Lax gives us chance to win another.

Have you ever watched a game of Lax? I'm sure the sport has amazing athletes but I always feel like what their doing isn't super human or next level. I find it incredibly boring. When I watch DI basketball, football, wrestling, hockey, baseball etc I feel like I'm watching athletes who have a skill that I never had. It's what makes it enjoyable. Plus the Lacrosse regular season runs from January to April. If we were lucky we could draw 50 fans a game outdoors.
Unless we want to move it to the Fargodome where the field isn't 60 to 70' wide. Terrible TV sport and even worse live
