This is very disappointing. Kid was really blowing up making some eye opening runs last year and I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do in Boulder.

Yes, speculation, but likely some kind of inappropriate involvement with a patient who was considered vulnerable. (and that could be lots of things, including psychiatric issues) We will never know just how bad the situation is (ie patient with mild depression, versus a destructive bipolar person who regularly engages in bad sexual habits), but no doubt he will be allowed to keep his license as long as remorse is shown, and he stays in line. You have to really, really screw up to permanently screw your license in any health profession; usually repeated behavior or go to prison type of behavior.
