I think you hit the nail on the head with your last sentence. Wissports just does such a great job covering recruiting, that's why your hearing all the info about Wisco recruits. I'm sure we'll have plenty of Minny kids and hopefully a ND kid or two on the roster come signing day.

Yep, wissports.net is great - nothing comes even close to them for Minnesota recruiting. I see more about NDSU recruiting on Houston and Illinois sites than on Minnesota ones (as far as I know, there are really only minnesotapreps.com and gopherhole).

Does anyone know if we're looking at QB Zach Wentz of Bismarck Century?

I don't know if they are, but they might want to. I saw him against Minot earlier in the year, and he can flat out play.

RB Montez Hatten 5'7 178 Anderson, South Carolina (Westside HS)

Hatten is Westside's all-time leading rusher with over 5000 yards rushing and 54 touchdowns in his career. He may be short in stature but runs very hard and has great field vision. Hits the hole fast and has good breakaway speed. Gaudy numbers against AAAA competition should earn him a serious look from mid-major programs looking for a strong prospect who deserves much more attention. Highly underrated prospect.

Wow! I can understand why a kid would choose Marshall over NDSU but it's cool being #2 on his list. I'm suprised we're recruiting that far south.I'm lovin' it!

KF: Name your top 5 list of schools currently.
MH: Marshall, North Dakota State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Charleston

I like Seth Nichols the QB out of Dakota Prairie. Word is he's phenemonal and Iowa, Iowa State, NDSU and UND are recruiting him.

Yeah, I bet NDSU is recruiting Nichols and Seth Wisthoff, for example, but I don't have a link that says so or they'd be on the radar.

Oh yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if NDSU was talking to Wentz - what I wonder is if they have been talking to Esley Thorton, the sophomore QB from Bismarck High.
