Not all offers are the same. I know on 2 of them that they offered a larger scholarship.

The transfers with 2 and 3 years of eligibility are the ones I am more hopeful on. Especially if they are physically ready from day 1, which is historically the use of a redshirt season
The downside is spring football has passed so that may slow the development a bit for this year. Late in the year or during the playoffs is more likely
Re: 2026 Recruiting Updates
Don't the Bison also have a very limited number of scholarships available for next season with a small senior class this season?

Most probably wont pan out. Its hard to make up for losing our best players. 99% of drop downs wont be as good. HS recruiting is more important than ever and just gotta hope we keep developing and guys will be asked to step up a year earlier than expected.

I’m somewhat more optimistic. Look at Fraley for a recent example. NIL/portal has changed everything. If you play young players and they flash, there will be instant portal pressure. Nobody is exempt from this, not even NDSU, but especially programs on the brink trying to be relevant. Until/unless something is done to change this, 'development' won’t man what it used to

We can use it to fill gaps/depth and occassionally find impact player like Fraley. Most years will be hard to find guys that are as good as our top guys that leave.

Brian Schaetz was that size. He turned out ok.

It also might just be basketball related.
