2008 NDSU Recruits

Another offer: Defensive back Jordan Osborne (?) from The Woodlands (Houston, TX). The question marks are because the story says "Justin" but I think they meant "Jordan". GPA 3.7 and has an offer from Army. Vandy is sniffing around too. 6'0, 185.

Rivals recruiting deal

Added two new players: Jordan Marriott and Jon Heimler.

Also, I re-arranged the master post to make it a little easier to find prospects (behold the wonder that is alphabetizing).

BOHL was at the GOPHERS game last night.

Said he is seeing 4-5 recruits today and tomorrow in minneapolis....

He doesn't seem that accomplished as a football player but I like the fact he's a multi sport athlete, and a pretty good one at that. A good coaching staff can really turn those guys into productive players.

Well we should have the entire South/West Fargo team play for the Bison. They are obviously good.

Apparently NDSU has visited an Illinois pro-style QB named Mark Tolzien from Fremd High School in Palatine, IL (NW Chicago). Er, at least they made it to his HS to get tape, not sure if they talked or not.

Rivals lists Boston College, Iowa, Wisconsin, and a bunch of Ivy League schools as having interest (Iowa and Wisconsin, for sure, are in touch quite a bit). His older brother plays for the Badgers.

I count five HS QBs that NDSU is looking at - of course, it's probable that not all of them are being recruited as QBs. Anyway, this is the first Illinois recruit I've heard in connection with NDSU but if they were there, they were probably in a lot of other places.

Geez, WI, WI, WI. Is it just that we don't know about more of the MN and ND kids? Nothing against WI, we get a bunch of tremendous players from there but I'm surprised there aren't more listed from the twin cities. Maybe most of the info is coming from the WI recruiting sites?
