They could have still been feeling some effects, tiredness, brain fog, etc.
Parris Campbell from Ohio State could be that person if he could ever overcome his injuries. Some people are just snake bit. Thus drafting is at best an educated guess.

Where they is smoke there is fire. I still think he's their best option for next year. I hope he's back and has a great season. Article is likely behind a paywall.

Get him up to Pittsburgh! They rehabbed the Bus. They'll rehab Wentz

Even absolutely loaded NBA teams that form super teams don't win it the first year. It takes time to learn about your teammates.
Too Bad the owner is a nut job.

Like T. Brady and M. Stafford to Tampa/Rams and Super Bowl wins?
I often wonder whether Wentz watches great QBs and considers whether to emulate some of what they do. The contrast between Brady/Rodgers/Stafford etc. is striking. Wentz ALWAYS seems on edge and over the top. Why can’t he just relax and throw to an open receiver without so much stress? Eff, how can he not know by now which one will likely be open? Just strange.

You make a valid point CAs. Although I will say both those teams had loaded WR rooms and even though I never liked Brady he is the Goat and by quite a ways so to compare anybody to him is quite unfair. Brady has made it look so easy over the years. Wentz in my opinion did slightly regress this year and has since that brutal concussion in my opinion but he can still make the colts better.
