Surprised to see so many become public at the same time and not see an offer for the ambidextrous kid that McFeely wrote about the other day.

Also, I love seeing the attention that putting a string of consecutive QBs in the NFL is garnering. The fact that multiple QBs with P4 offers would come to campus for visits is really cool.

I thought that height was extremely generous as well. He's been making plays since his Freshman season though so the kid stands out at his HS level at least. I don't think he's a very dynamic runner though.

What you say definitely can be true. I just think he may just be rotten to the core. With having kids the same age, I've seen him play a lot over the years...always the same thing. He would have to completely change who he is.

He got benched/removed from games in basketball...never did anything. Can't speak to football.

There are just some players beyond control. Had a story here locally where a player had issues throughout the game. Late in the game, he committed a late hit or unsportsmanlike like foul, and his coaches pulled him out of the game. He apparently inserted himself back in (no idea why his coaches didn't remove him again). His team was down several scores, and the other team had a backup right guard shoot off in his own during the cadence before the snap and tackle him (he was a linebacker). Total dick move by the offense, but of course it led to him throwing punches. Both players ejected, and the game declared over. After the game, the seniors on the team got together and voted him off the team even though he was a 3-year starter. I found out later he had also been in jail earlier in the week for beating up his girlfriend.

But just because a player plays with passion and crosses the line often doesn't mean they are like this kid. I'll trust the coaches to do their best due diligence to determine if this kid can keep his nose clean.
