Those Bastards! If only somehow the Bison were FBS these P4 school offers wouldn't happen...or so I've been told.

literally no one has ever said that but ok. the entire point is that an FBS offer is viewed universally as more prestigious than an FCS offer, which is obvious to everyone with 2 functioning brain cells

Somebody better tell that to Babatz, Braaten,Warden, Wood, Green, Clubb, Nellis and a few others from last yrs commit list, apparently they're in the dark on this.

You need to understand FBS is greater than FCS every day of the week. An FBS NDSU would have a greater chance of signing a recruit than an FCS NDSU. And of course there are exceptions.

I guess I am short some brain cells and am not from the same universe, because I don't agree with the bolded statement at all. Moreover, I don't think you'd find many national CFB media folks to agree with it either. If you qualify it with "In general, an FBS offer is considered more prestigious than an FCS offer", that'd be one thing, but the blanket statement is obviously wrong.
An offer from Air Force, Akron, App State, Arkansas State, Army, Ball State, Boise State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Fresno State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Hawaii, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Kent State, Liberty, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Memphis, Miami, Middle Tennessee, Navy, Nevada, New Mexico, New Mexico State, North Texas, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Old Dominion, Rice, Sam Houston, San, Diego State, San Jose State, South Alabama, South Florida, Southern Miss, Temple, Texas State, Toledo, Troy, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, UConn, ULM, UMass, UNLV, Utah State, UTEP, UTSA, Western Kentucky, Western Michigan, or Wyoming > an NDSU offer?
No freaking way do I believe that - nor do recruits, apparently.
