Attendance wise, NDSU would be like 5th-6th in attendence in mountain west. Hell I would sign a 20 year contract with US BANK to play 1 game there every year. 50,000 fans pack the house with $25 seats to increase our average attendence
(minimum for FBS is 15,000 so we will easily make that.... just would be nice carrot for Mountain West to invite us! A chance to play in a NFL stadium in a large metro area)

Group of 5 is a barrel fire. I don't want NDSU in the GO5 until they create a GO5 championship playoff.
Power 5 would be awesome but I don't think any Power 5 conference will be interested unless our sports revenue greatly increases. They care a lot more about $ than record

- Interest in NDSU football is waning because there's nothing left to accomplish. They best case scenario is doing what they've done for a decade.
- The MW > MVFC. Chance to play regional P5s again (This alone would be worth it)
- You have to start positioning yourself soon for a playoff expansion

Then you better be happy being in the third tier of college FB for eternity. You're not going from FCS to the P5 without at least a spell at the G5 level. Every program that's made the move has seen their revenue increase. We've reached the ceiling at the FCS level. You either want to grow or you're happy with the status quo which will be similar to what happened to us in D2. I for one do not want us to spend another 10 years while the rest of FCS pulls us to the level they prefer. F... that!
