What an amazing young man. I cannot heap enough superlatives on Mr. Wentz. His family has so much to be proud of.

If you had an ACL back in the 70s you were done. They just buchered you. Brian Wanzer tore his ACL and he never played again. Was one of the best athletes Ive ever seen. Bid kid. Was a stud BB player as well. He wore a full leg cast for 6 months. Just terrible.
You ain't a kidding on the "butchered" part. I have coaches and friends that wrestle way before my time and they were pretty jealous of my small incision scar on my knee compared to their Frankenstein scarred legs.
I have the opposite reaction to the younger guys who basically have no scars after having surgery on their AC joints. My scar from that surgery looks light I took a butter knife to a sword fight.
Still shell-shocked by this all, but what a great message. So trying to be an optimist, I'm not going to be able to understand the big(gest) picture, what are some good things that can come of this?
1. Gives Carson a chance to see nfl game from a different perspective, be a good teammate, appreciate the highs more, more time(?) for off-the-field/personal/charity things?
2. Better Cinderella story when all is said and done.
3. Gives Vikes a 1-year window to win it all this year, so I won't feel guilty pulling for Carson/Eagles to win it all next 10+ years.
4. Only 2 must-watch games every weekend, instead of 3 - happier wife. ;)
EDP is not taking the news very well.
If you dont know who EDP is you have been warned. Do not play this near children or at work.

I always feared injury would/will be his nemesis, because he's so darn competitive that he's willing to lay it all out there on the field. His best lesson from this is maybe save that for playoff/super bowl type games. I hope it doesn't change him a LOT but he needs to learn that he will not last long in NFL constantly taking big hits on a somewhat inconsequential (in the big picture of a season) play like that. Definitely wouldn't want to be a statue in the pocket either as that's not all that entirely safe spot either as others have mentioned.
Pederson should have just handed the ball off to Blount in that situation, it is what he is there for.
