Oh well, to the ignore list you go :innocent:
Montana State = SDSU
Both fan bases and their leadership are 100% okay with staying in FCS. Montana and NDSU see things a bit differently.

With the PAC and B12 lobbing shots at each other id think it has to be a matter of weeks before we hear something. This is so interesting to me, both conferences looking at the other as a mortal enemy. B12 with the upper hand now because of something the B10 did. The PAC better grab up SDSU and Boise…

Re: A new and better FBS thread
Alright... figured out a solution for us to move up, get a great media contract, solve the NIL puzzle and be (possibly) independent (at least at first):
First we need to openly declare our desire to move up. Make a BUNCH of noise about it. As conferences decline our offer (and they will) just get more and more brazen. Call them out for not being fair or scared of the Bison. This should generate media attention.
Second we need to get on every network and lay out an open challenge to any G5 school in the country. Tell them we'll kick their asses with 22 less full scholarships. Nonstop media blitz.
Third since we likely won't get many/any takers to this point we again make noise to the media. At this point we start pitching the idea of going independent and pitch the idea for a TV series on our unlikely path to the FBS and independence AND grant them media rights to our games once we successfully petition to join the FBS ranks. Pitch it to Netflix, Amazon, Peacock, Discovery... whoever will listen and let them hit up our athletes with NIL deals to promote the show.
Fourth now that we are FBS and have a great media deal, it should be much easier to attract schools to play and possibly even open doors for invites from other G5 conferences.
Fifth ????
Sixth Profit
Purple? Obviously, but maybe kinda not? I mean, it's not much crazier than some of the other scenarios I've seen thrown around in this thread.

So…. This is the correct answer.
It’s a pretty mindfuck thing. Like Banksy only not a faggot.
I’m like this guy who is street performance acting like a guy named
AUGUST GREENE (and any other derivative thereof per enforceable TM)
And AUGUST is doing this reality show like a psychopath in his head right? And his main character overall is to convince these idiot people that he is Jesus Christ himself. And to do it, he must perfect every role and walk in every shoe…. But oddly enough. AUGUST himself was the last path Jesus had to walk to be complete and ALL KNOWING in a literal way through all of August’s sinning and blasphemy…. And august is actually like this kid from a small town Methodist church that got like upset they started promoting the gays preaching as if not a sin. Like it was GOOD BEHAVIOR. And he was like fuck it. Now I don’t know who to trust.
But he always trusted jesus. And Jesus made him a REALLY good fucking actor. And he believes in his heart that he is preaching the way Jesus is teaching him to (psycho right?)
And if Jesus is with him…. Fuck EVERYTHING else.
So kind of a concept of mine ya know?
How you guys like it so far?

Exactly... we already know most of the MVFC is basketball only and would quit football at a drop of a hat *see covid year*
Lets have some balls and throw them on the table. Lets publicly release a statement saying NDSU has dominated the FCS 151-12 9 titles and are looking for a FBS invite at this moment.

The “Catholics” are just boring AND stupid.

Just take the “sacred” stuff for Jesus. And like.
Fuck them eh?

Re: A new and better FBS thread
Just think if GT had listened to the naysayers when we went FCS and formed the Big West, now we're in the top FCS conference and dominating this subdivision. Those saying we should only go MWC or stay FCS have short memories. Nobody gets an invite to a top conference without taking steps to get there. NDSU just needs to get their foot in the door IMO.

People bring up the Great West a lot, but I'm not sure they're taking the right lesson from it. The best thing about the GW was the regional partners. 3 recently jumped NCC members were the core. What are we currently missing for a FBS jump? Regional partners. You get 1-6 midwest schools to go with us and a whole lot of things become easier.

What if the bison were INDEPENDENTLY doing this. And payed them to still play them.
Pay them that sweet “free win” FBs money we always steal.

I would not be surprised if the autobid from the 6th conference is in the bottom 4 of the seeding and has to travel for the first round game.

We waited around too long in D2 for "regional partners" and the program suffered for it. Do you want to do the same now? And the only regional partner we had starting the GW was SDSU, I don't consider NC a regional partner. We can still play the other regional teams in OOC if we go it alone.

screw the regional rivals! use your brains.
NDSU is already bigger better!
NDSU moving to FBS further cements it, hell we will use our regional teams as minor leagues and promote 1-2 studs per team per year
this will make NDSU much more successful , it would actually hurt us to take ANY of them along.
MAYBE UNI Or 1 of the Montanas. big maybe
let then squabble for the crumbs. We are the KING

UND is living proof of what happens when you wait too long. UND is also living proof of what happens when you have totally ignorant people who don't want to move up.
