Don't think you understand how this works.

In your scenario, we get a bid into the CFP, but its far from likely we'd be hosting an SEC team.
Many or most of the at large bids are likely to get seeded above the 6th ranked conference.
All you need to do is look at the NCAA basketball tournament to understand how this will work.

It is more likely the MWC champ gets the 12 seed and has to travel to the 5 seed stadium for round 1.
Think they are still sorting out what games may be hosted at schools, and which ones are held at bowls.
