Agreed. Though we wouldn't have games there after mid November so while definitely a factor, may not be the de facto decision. However, to get the community behind it it wrought need to be a joint effort with city again most likely. The best way for that is to have a year round money making venue. IOW an indoor stadium.

Not enclosed, but covered enough to keep a lot of that cold, ND wind out. 33,350 seems about right capacity for NDSU

Here it is with it completely closed. MOSAIC stadium was first designed to be enclosed.
Hence it needing to be completely enclosed like it’s original plans. With the price tag when built at $278mill I’m not sure what that would be now a days and closing all the gaps to elements. Would $325 mill be ballpark? Idk
After looking, the project started in 2014 so not that long ago.
Build it open first with a fundraising effort to enclose it in the future? Might work. A few cold outdoor seasons might entice me to donate a bit more. :biggrin:
