Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Also, I officially suck at the Master golf Fantasy league. They sent me an email that confirms this.

Throw Bryson in there, too. He’s very entertaining to watch. Rose is a great story, too. I’ll be pulling for Rory either way… can you imagine the release of pent up emotion to finally win another major after all these years, and have it be the career GS too? Man… I hope it happens for him…

Something about Bryson that rubs me wrong. I'm a huge Rose fan though and would be fine if he won it but like you I'll be pulling for Rory

From the Athletic:
Quote:
Justin Rose’s first-round 65 has him hanging onto a one-stroke edge atop the leaderboard. The bad news for Rose: Since 2000, players leading men's major championships by one shot after 36 holes have won just 21 percent of the time (6-for-28).

His shirts don't fit right to start.

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
But yeah I'm all for Scotty and Rory on Sunday! Rory is my daughters name too!

I know what you mean about Bryson. In recent interviews he’s explained that he felt inauthentic for much of that time, trying to be aloof like Tiger… he’s trying to find himself and figure out who he is. He’s won me over recently…

What a start to moving day. This will be fun

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Rose looks like shooter mcgavin right now eh.

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Mclroy and Lowry paired together tomorrow would be cool
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Hate to carry Rory's bag. Definitely got snacks and drinks in that thing eh.
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Nice back nine for Hoge with a 32 and -2 for the tourney

I had pretty much already come around on Bryson from watching his YouTube stuff, but watching his interactions with the fans during and after winning the US Open last year completely won me over. Letting Johnson Wagner hold the trophy after he replicated his bunker shot on 18, letting every fan who stuck around Pinehurst touch the trophy (and then doing the same thing for his neighbors at the VRBO he was staying at that week), taking it around downtown Nashville the following week at the LIV event. He's still quirky as hell, but he's managed to become very affable while embracing that.
What an epic showdown tomorrow is shaping up to be!

Yep, the US Open stuff last year is what got me, too. I’m still pulling for Rory, but I won’t be sad if Bryson wins…

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Well I'm cheering for Rory eh. Little luck of teh Irish. But man it's going to be epic with him and Bryson paired up. Love watching those two tee off.

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Right on the beach! Don't think Rory! Fuck
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Shit got real. Quick eh. Today's shooter mcgavin

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion

12 shots to get through 4 holes yesterday, 11 shots to get through just 2 holes today. Golf is a fickle mistress

It's a humbling game for sure

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
The shit the drunk fans yell from the tee box seats only gets better from here boys!

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Ok I'm cheering for Rose now.
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Just don't 3 putt while I'm in the bathroom like yesterday Rose.
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
11th place alone and -5. Still charging. Iron Byron and Titanium Tom.
Go Tom….GoBison!!
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Ok there's the yeti water bottle out of Rory's bag. Still be snacks and a protein shake to go.
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Rory with a 4 shot lead at the turn
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Bryson has a kind face. The kind you'd like to punch. Totally see why that guy could rub someone the wrong way. He's got his own YouTube feed going according to my kid because he wasn't getting enough camera time.
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
And that putter is worse than a torpedo baseball bat!
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Im honestly worried about Rory. He just chugged the water bottle and then the protein shake in between one hole. Bro is going to get a tummy ache.
