I think UND will run blitz a lot and anything that is 3 and long or 3 and medium.

Screens and passes to TEs should work against this defense.

I think Clay Wagner was the one who got injured. Wasn't it Kevin Klancher who came in for him? 94 regular season game in the dome.

I love that middle screen that we run. Teams sniffed it out so we stopped running it a ton. But I will never forget DJ catching that for a TD after the fake punt in the 2011 title game. Then watching Carson and Chase running it to perfection last week. I hope TP runs it a lot.

Thank god it was Big Iron week so KFGO was forced to cover that extensively all week.

I am fairly familiar with the NDSU UN_ football "rivalry". My father took me to NDSU football games when I was a kid (so since late 70's) and we have been going ever since. This game might have meant a lot during the D2 era...but honestly not so much anymore.

Also, even when I was younger I noticed an element of ugliness to this "rivalry" that I never really cared for.

So, I guess if vitriolic behavior, ugliness, smack/bull shit talking, and fans acting in general like jack asses toward each other is "great for the state of North Dakota" then let's definitely play this game every year.

Heard a rumor Bubba has this guy coming in to give the Sundogs there pre-game pep talk... things could get ugly! :-)

I have heard "good for the State" many times this week and it is always from a UN_ person. Here goes the conversation:
