Easy to dislike both these teams. Hard to tell if there was more stupidity on the field or on the sidelines.

The battle of Flordia was sloppy but entertaining. My take aways from the game:
QBs - Miami's grew up, but got his tail kicked. Florida's (who is a returning starter) acted like a true freshman and immature
Sloppy sloppy tackling
lack of discipline.
Game of quarters. 1st all FL, 2nd all Miami, 3rd all D, 4th penalties.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
That was ugly. Florida will move up to 4 tho

Florida? People still dislike them? I forget about them by week 5 every year.
Miami I get. That's kinda eternal dislike.

Franks acting like that is annoying. He isnt that great of a QB in the first place.
You could tell it was an Aug 24 game. Will be interesting to see if Miami improves under Diaz

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
shitty decision for UNI to kick the PAT in the 2nd OT. ISU was outplaying UNI and UNI was getting the ball first in 3rd OT.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Nice to see SHSU is putting together a challenging schedule... up 77-0 against something called Oklahoma State Panhandle.... NAIA I think...

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
What a strange day so far.
35-28 UND over UCD; early 4Q
10-9 SIU over SDSU; halftime
24-0 USD over ISUb; halftime (ok, that one's not that surprising)
17-15 Idaho St over Mont; late 2Q(it was 17-0 ISU at one point)

Watching both Youngstown at UNI and JMU at Stony Brook simultaneously along with the Twins game. Two out of three games that are entertaining isn't bad.

I didn't think the JMU Stony Brook game would be so close. What are your thoughts on the game?

Not a fan of either, but I’m entertained.
I don’t know if JMU is having an off day, but this game supports my claim from another thread that I haven’t seen anything from the Dukes that makes me think they deserve to be ranked higher than the Bison.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Cal's QB should be tossed for targeting.
And they might be. It's going to be reviewed.
Nope. They must have decided he slipped or tangled his feet. I don't know if a defensive player would have been given the benefit of the doubt.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Tulsa misses game winning 43 yard FG in OT. His career long is 32  Then he performs a horrible flop when He bumps the defender trying to block. Maybe we shouldn’t be as hard on the Bison STs as we have the past few years when there are plenty of FBS teams that can’t even kick a field goal.

Watching the SHSU/Central Ark game in Arkansas.... That stupid field makes me think they are going to score a touchdown every 5 yards because the field changes color

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Streveler playing in the Grey Cup on ESPN 2.
Has 1 throwing TD at half.

What an easy job these guys have. Pretend to be outraged/angry over something like where 3-loss Auburn is ranked lmao. Get paid a salary by ESPN.

Why? Only 495 yard of offense and 49 points by LSU at halftime...what's the big deal?
Boatraced would be an improvement from Oklahoma perspective.

Looks like six. This year. But none tonight. Aaaaaaand he’s done for today. 7 TD passes. Slacker.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Bison trivia: the white hat referee in tonight's Peach Bowl between LSU and Oklahoma is Stuart Mullins. What famous Bison game did he also officiate?
Hint: many consider this game to be the greatest game in Fargodome history.

Bingo! I had to look it up because I had just watched a good chunk of that 2012 game in the last couple weeks but when I saw him make a call in today's game I thought he looked familiar. He's made quite the rise these last 7 years since I think he was a Patriot League official back in 2012 and now I assume he's on the top crew in the ACC.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Anyone else think the audio is messed up on this Clemson Ohio state game? Can't here announcers but the crowd and whistle is loud as heck.

Is it just me or does McConaughey suck at ice fishing. Apparently it's just me not hearing ESPN. Jump out of my seat when the commercials come on or I change it to espn 2. Don't dare turn it up anymore because the band and crowd is so loud. And no I'm not watching sky cast that's what I get for canceling the app.

The way these SF games are going, the P5 conferences are going to have a good argument of why the playoffs shouldn’t be more than four teams.

I've seen quite a few similar comments to these floating around social media and it kind of makes me want to pull my hair out. Who cares if the games are lopsided? I say if you have 1 year where a G5 team crashes the party and makes the title game in a 8 team or 16 team format it's worth it even if the next 4 years it's P5 teams only in the title game. The basketball tournament is almost always won by blue bloods as well but I really love it when a team like VCU or Butler makes a run.

Unfortunately, I believe it’s the way P5 think. Anyway they can keep the money among themselves, the better.
In regards to basketball, that’s the NCAA’s Cash Cow.
