As I wrote in the tourney summary for my golf league, I'm sure he was frustrated by the paltry $850k payout he received on Sunday. I mean after gas for the jet, shopping expense for the missus and VRBO expense did he have anything left?
But yeah, if it ain't him then history says it will be some guy named "field".

Ooooooooooooone week!
Here's your field. https://www.masters.com/en_US/players/player_list.html
Who might leverage the Valero to sneak into this group on Sunday?

Speaking of the Valero, Heff and Greenfield, Tom Hoge is holding down second place currently! I reckon he’ll be pleased to cash whatever check they’re fixin’ to write him. Yeehaw! :howdy:

That last putt was for a lot of dough Puck. He will still cash a nice check though.
Congrats to Brian Harman for this win.

If you are like me and failed to order your Masters hosting kit from Augusta then this little video from Meat Church BBQ may help save your viewing party. Killer Pimento Cheese sandwich recipe. Also, I served those Azaleas at my party last year and they will be a staple from here on out. Very refreshing and not sweet.

Fred Couples still has it at The Masters. Shoots a -1 71. Hoping he can do it again tomorrow. He's got one the sweetest swings in the game. Oh and 65 years young

Absolutely right. His swing is a work of art. So effortless. Hope his back can hold out. I read that the head of the tournament competition committee specifically told Fred they wanted him to play. Unlike other past champs who they nudge to retire.

Rosey is on fire. How the hell did I miss him for my international player???

Picked him in multiple pools. He has the most first round Masters leads of any player without a green jacket.

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Hoge finished with an even par 72

If he doesn’t chip it in the water on 15, we’re talking -2 today… multiple guys struggling with that hole location today…

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Nick Dunlop shoots a 90. I'd take that any day but I'm pretty sure he's not to happy with it

Hoge currently tied for 11th at -2 after 14. Safe to say he will be playing the weekend

Maybe not so safe after all.

Right now it looks like plus 4 will be the cut. Hoge is even after 36 holes

Ah better. When I checked earlier it was looking like +1.

Now it's +2 so it could get dicey

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Bernard Langer playing like he's a youngster still. Even par after 12 and a really good chance of playing the weekend. At 67 years old it's simply incredible. I'm hoping he can do it. Just a classy guy
Rory comes back today with a -6 and only 2 back of Rose
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Langer finished at +3. Now he waits and hopes the cut line is +3 or higher
-
Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Cut line is +2 so no Langer or Couples. Last one for Langer after 41 starts. Fred will be back next year

Would have been fun to have those former champs compete on the weekend. Still, we have a very attractive leaderboard heading into moving day. I think it will be a fun weekend.
