Hope you're right and it doesn't cost him much game time. His knee and head injury where big hits but these ticky tack injuries that keep happening have to be frustrating.

It is not anti-vax. Millions of conservatives have taken the vaccine. It should be none of your business which ones.
Willing to take this to another forum, and keep the stupid vax talk off this topic thread.

Not vaccinated = bad teammate. That’s the only point I’m making here.

Not vaccinated = bad citizen.
Yes I care if you're vaccinated, and it is my business because I don't want to be around you so I'll prioritize businesses who take vaccination seriously over those that don't.

Of course but this is a football thread so we’re only talking about football here.

Pretty much a universal concept. If my co workers are unvaccinated, I don't want to be around them either.

Then don't. You have freedom of association. Work somewhere else.

Is it possible to add an ignore feature for any post that has the letter sequence "vaccin" in it???

You will probably have better luck leaving all social media for the next year and then seeing if people are still talking about it.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
From NFL Network (Ian Rapoport):
The Colts quarterback plans to rest and rehab his foot injury over the next few days rather than undergo an immediate procedure, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
This leaves the door open for Wentz to be available for Week 1. A caveat to powering through the ailment is that medical personnel believe the sixth-year QB would be much less mobile, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported. But if his foot doesn't improve, surgery might be required, Rapoport added.

The dude from Oakland. Jamarcus Russell?

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
The Colts should trade for Easton Stick. Since the patriots didn't already do it, which I said would be genius because Stick was pretty much made for that offense, then the next best place would be wherever Wentz is at.
The next next best place for Stick is wherever Gase ends up as an offensive coordinator. He would excel in that offense.
Most QBs don't get hurt extra often just because they run except Wentz. He needs to quit running anyways.

Hoping nothing but a quick and full recovery for Carson. He has the talent to be a top notch QB and Indy is a perfect situation. He deserves quick healing and continued health. Wishing Carson the best!

Out 5-12 weeks...oof.
Starting to feel like C Dubs just might have that kind of shitty luck.

Has elected to have surgery with the above timetable.

do we know what the surgery is?
ankle ligaments?
dislocated toe?
Achilles would be longer

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
5-12 weeks seems like a really odd time frame.

It's the exact amount of time it takes to recover from covid19.
Coincidence?

Removing a bone from foot
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Bone broke loose in foot likely from injury from high school

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
If he hits the front end of the timeline he's back for week 1 (assuming he had surgery today or will have it very soon). Opening day for the Colts was 6 weeks from yesterday.
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Assuming the removal is of a large bone chip? Not one of the actual full bones in the foot?
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Dude has bad luck. I really feel bad for him.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Max Kellerman is going to be more insufferable than usual.

Not sure how anyone listens to that dude anymore. He's a tool.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
From an article I saw - Doctors determined that Wentz unknowingly suffered a broken foot at some point in his career, likely in high school, and when the quarterback planted on his foot in practice last Thursday, a piece of the bone came loose.
Also said surgery is today.
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
All I will say is it will be a lot closer to 5 weeks than 12

I used to be a big fan of his when he was just covering boxing. I actually don't mind Stephen A. Smith either but Kellerman just ruins that show in the morning.
And that's just in general, not just when he's covering Carson.

Best of Luck to Carson. Hopefully the injury heals quickly and he has a great year

Sucks for Carson. Hopefully he heals quickly and can get on the field sooner than later.

Figured that. History of colts under emphasizing the extent of qbs injuries(manning and luck) in past so now over emhpasize. Plus carson is a pretty fast healer.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Quentin Nelson had to have the same surgery as Carson today. He was supposedly born with it. How crazy is that???:uhyeah:
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
I wonder how they would think his foot issue goes back to high school. Maybe Carson just said that area of the foot has always been painful since then?
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
successful surgery, best case scenario and this means that a UND/usd doctor DID NOT work on him.

I'm guessing scans/x rays showed damage from a ligament pulling of bone/ or stress fractures that were old. They can see if they've healed over time but not correctly/completely. Asked about injury history and just made the statement

Considering the UND doctor that worked on his wrist was given rave reviews, I don't think which medical school was used is that big of deal.

FYI students right out of med school dont do surgery. They go to a different school to learn their specialty.
