Once saw a d lineman for the Raiders ( back when they where in Oakland) pick up Terry Bradshaw bodily and slam him into the ground head first. A normal person would have had a broken neck.

And the players prior to the 1980's didn't make anywhere near the money the spoiled athletes of today's NFL make.
