Proposing just one TP window in early January and seems close to being done? If I recall correctly the B1G and SEC were at odds over when to open it (spring vs fall), but seems the B1G won out ...

Mark Gronowski stats vs Iowa State. 13-24, 83 yds, 1 int. Ouch.

Not surprised. At. All.
I called him overrated when he was hIgHlY tOuTeD, overrated when he won the Payton, overrated when Cam showed him how to play QB twice in the same year.
Has always been overrated, always will be overrated.
…but at least he got to flash some horns down signs while winning a few games.

I quite enjoy watching their only championship winning QB leave for greener pastures only to crash and burn. Comparing that to NDSU's string of QBs shows just how wide the gulf between the two programs there are. SDST has culture or something yadda yadda yadda.

It could also be that he's in a system that hasn't been good for QBs the past several seasons.

It’s likely both. Is it also a coincidence that he had one of his worst seasons as a Jackrabbit when his top 2 receivers and NFL TEs graduated?

Good receivers help. But I still think he showed plenty of talent as well.

Talented enough to play QB in the FCS and some G5 schools? Yes…
Most talented player in the subdivision and good enough to start at a P4? Fuck no.
Overrated as fuck.

I feel this is an accurate assessment as to the ceiling of his potential.
Brookville disciples believed he could turn water into wine. We all knew better.
