Can't mean much with these schools included

This is good to see that they believe that we have a highly ranked recruiting class. The only thing is that whither these players will pan out and what the retention rate of this class is going to be. Hopefully we can retain all these players and climb up the poll rankings.
anyone have an idea what our past few years classes have ranked nationally?
That's got to sting a little in Brookings to see their recruiting class rated lower than und and USD.
SDSU fans don't put any credibility in that ranking. Getting more kids that were on Rivals doesn't mean squat.
But the fact that SDSU got several kids that had offers from USD, and USD got 0 players that had an offer from SDSU probably means alot more.
I'm sure the credibility of the ranking would also be in question had the rankings been reversed...
I do agree that the head-to-head stats are probably more telling, if you also believe that the players with offers from both are the other team's top picks.
All the ranking really means to me is that you pulled in a lot of recruits from metro areas. USD is up on the list because they recruit a lot of chicago area athletes.
That ranking is littered with schools that never field competitive FCS teams. It's fun to look at, but it doesn't mean much.
ill be the first one to admitt it...i am not gonna say anything bad about sdsu's recruiting, u guys have beaten us 3 years in a row and have had far fewer off the field issues....u guys recruit better talent and better character kids than we have in the past years and i respect u guys for that......but on the other hand i am extremely excited to see where our program is in a year or two with the classes we have coming in, it just might be a little easier drive home from brookings from now on :)
I think that NDSU has done a very good job recruiting the past couple years and wouldn't argue against it being within the top 10 of FCS.
I just think the ranking that was posted is bunk. Nice to look at, but doesn't mean anything. It's not like the person who made it broke down each recruit on each team, he just looked at Rivals and added up how many recruits and how many stars.
