Any new info on Keorris Berry? His rivals page still says no committment made?
Any word on him walking on some where? Is NDSU still an option?

Berry was recruited by Coach Camp. My understanding is that the rest of the staff wasn't that excited by him. When Camp left and the Bison landed Grant Olson, Berry was off the board. The Bison signed SIX high school linebackers and two juco linebackers. We could still use a kicker and maybe a corner (Michael Allen?).
Kermit, thanks for the info. Makes sense now.

The Golden Gopher football program picked up a commitment from La Marque (Texas) wide receiver Logan Hutton on National Signing Day when he faxed in his signed letter of intent. Rivals.com ranks Hutton as a two-star prospect with a 5.2 rating as a wide receiver. GI's Lane Swansson took a look at Hutton's video and offered up a talent evaluation of the future Golden Gopher.
Hutton already has fairly good size for a Big Ten wide receiver at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. Hutton played in a spread offense in high school where he was used mostly as a possession receiver. He does a great job of running three step routes in which he creates space for himself to catch the ball.
If I am a Gopher Fan, I am officially pissed that Brewster did not take Vraa at WR. You have an in state kid who wanted to be a Gopher. He is just as fast, has better hands and was your Mr. Football. Plus, he is bigger. Hutton turned down Navy and Sam Houston State. Brewster wins another huge recruiting battle! I understand passing on Vraa if you win a huge battle and get a 3 star kid that had other offers, or was athletically superior to Vraa, but this kid absolutely is not.
Their loss is our gain. Vraa is going to be a superstar for the Bison. Gebhart and Vraa for years to come. Midwest kids that want to be here. That is exciting.

Looks like this is a kicker that NDSU is going after.
Also, Bisonhusker, noooooo! Cue WildBill response in three, two, one... :)
Man, looking forward to the day when we're the FCS school everyone wants to come to. Don't want to be the school that kids are "Tempted" to come to. We need a rep like Montana or App St has. It all starts with better results on the field. And maybe a playoff game would help too. Go Bison !!!
Sounds like a very good recruit. However, don't underestimate the role that having "family in that area" can play.
