The MVC just took firm control of the MVFC. Interesting …
Did they?
If the Summit can add and automatically place FB teams in the MVFC, how soon until the voting balance shifts?
As part of the newly adopted structure, the MVFC will remain an independent legal entity, distinct from its member institutions' multisport conferences. The updated governance model includes a board of directors, executive committee, athletic director council, joint council, head coach council, and student-athlete advisory council. The MVC and Summit League will play a role in administrative operations.
I thought leading up to this announcement the plan was to put some lower level title than Commissioner in charge of the MVFC not have the MVC Commish slide over and take control?

Fordham-to-South Dakota State transfer Julius Loughridge has the third-most scrimmage yards in the FCS over the last three seasons (3,454 - 3,086 rushing and 368 receiving).
With the imparity in the FCS these stats are not necessarily of any value. MVFC/BigSky teams face a higher level of competition than all of the other teams.

Dom had the MVC commissioner on his show today and after listening, I still don't quite understand what's going on.
MVC is gonna help schedule a media day for the MVFC. Also going to hire a COO to manage day to day operations with ADs. Commissioner made it clear they were separate entities. He also said the Dakota schools were not on the MVC expansion radar last time.
Someone convince me the MVFC is going to be better off with a commissioner who's priorities are with the MVC.
A lot of questions Dom didn't ask.
Baffling that the commissioner of the conference was allowed to be the guy who answers primarily to basketball first schools. He came off like he didnt give a shit about MVFC fb. Really bothers me that NDSU/SDSU are bolstering the Valley brand rather than the Summit. I am curious, however, if this partnership makes it less likely for the MVC to poach a team like St. Thomas or Omah, etc.
I don’t see anything that helps the Summit schools with this new alignment/agreement.
More bullshit from the lower dregs of college sports unfortunately.

Ziebarth is an incredibly stupid name.
Like, imagine a UND Nazi after one of their sexual predators drank too much, observing the chaos in the bunker.

"Ja. Ze barthed."
